Amazon adds financial director

| Amazon has recruited Shaun McCabe to the position of financial director as it plans to offer a range of new categories. McCabe has joined from Homebase where he was head of trading finance as Amazon opens its fourth UK warehouse, this time in Swansea, to enable same day delivery to further large cities. Among the new product areas under consideration are packaged gourmet foods. Amazon also became the largest shareholder in DVD rental business LoveFilm following LoveFilm’s acquisition of the Amazon DVD rental business in the UK and Germany. |
