Electrocomponents beats expectations Electronics distributor Electrocomponents, best known for its RS Components business, reported that profit before tax for the year ended 31st March will beat expectations and come in at approximately £73 million. In the fourth quarter, the company saw its UK sales grow 9 percent and international business increase by 19 percent.

Strong growth at M&S Marks & Spencer released strong financial results for its last quarter, revealing a 6.2 percent rise in total UK sales for the 13 weeks to 27th March. M&S Direct, its ecommerce and home-shopping business, saw revenues increase by 48 percent.
